Police Appeal for Information Following Shocking Assault on 14-Year-Old in Broad Daylight
A 14-year-old girl was left injured and traumatised after a violent assault inside the Primark store in Maidstone, Kent. The shocking incident unfolded around 5.20pm last Friday, sparking a police investigation and widespread community concern.
Dragged by Her Hair and Kicked in the Head
According to authorities, the teenager was followed into the store by a man and two women. Once inside, she was yanked to the floor by her hair, violently kicked in the head, and subjected to verbal abuse.
The brutal attack left the young girl with visible bruising to her head and knees, as well as clumps of hair torn from her scalp. The assault took place in front of horrified shoppers.
Kent Police have released CCTV stills of individuals they wish to speak to in connection with the attack. The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.

Staff at nearby shops were appalled. A worker from Vxchange Vapes & Mobiles, located near the scene, expressed disbelief over the violent outburst in a family-friendly retail space.
“That is a child. That is terrible,” he said. “Come on, a child and in a Primark as well. It is a family place where families go and try to do stuff together. Even to see what happened in front of you or to experience that, that’s not nice. That is not right.”
Although the area is typically peaceful, the shop assistant noted occasional incidents involving rowdy behaviour among local youths.
“But in the end of the day, it is kids,” he added. “There’s a lot of security and cameras around here. On a Friday, it is very busy around there and the Primark is full of people.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Investigators are now working to identify the suspects. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognises those captured in the CCTV images.
The disturbing nature of the attack, particularly on a child in a busy high-street store, has heightened public alarm. Police presence in the area has since been increased to reassure residents and shoppers.
