A man was rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Woolwich on Thursday evening, 10 April. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which occurred on Parry Place, not far from the bustling A206 that leads to the Thames Waterfront and the Woolwich Ferry.
Man Suffers Stab Wounds in Evening Incident
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 6.11pm, responding to reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man with injuries. He was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment.
Medical staff later confirmed that the man’s injuries were neither life-threatening nor life-changing, providing some relief following the alarming event.
Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet
At this stage, no arrests have been made. Police have confirmed that enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are still ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Police were called to a report of a stabbing on Parry Place, Woolwich at around 18:11hrs on Thursday, 10 April.
A 33-year-old man was taken to the hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
